Reports  There are 2 categories of reports, conventional Fishbowl reports and Expanded reports.  Both report categories are just starting places for new reports. The belief is that it's better to start with something that is known, and make modifications. The Expanded reports are requests made by people in the Fishbowl community. Computed Columns  Normally to add a formula to a report in Fishbowl, the report must first be exported to Excel. With XpandedReports, the formula can be added directly into the report. See how to insert a computed column, and the list of functions to use when inserting a formula.

Memorization  Just like in QuickBooks, once fields have been selected, filtered, sorted, grouped, and new formulas inserted, the report can be saved as a report template. The report template can be reused in the same manner as in QuickBooks. Report templates can be exported and imported into other XpandedReports client's datafile.

Sort, Group and Filter directly in the report  Rather than having to export to Excel, or use the traditional Modify feature, reports can be Sorted, Grouped and Filtered on any field on the report.

Subtotals with Sum, Min, Max, Average, StdDev, Count  Any group can contain subtotals on numeric fields. The subtotals options include Sum, Min, Max, Average, StdDev, Count.

Pivot  All summary reports are done as a Pivot report, allowing you to pivot data like you would in Excel.  Furthermore, all detail reports can be converted to a Pivot report.
